Bad service

Two weeks back my partner purchased chicken and pork at Pick n Pay in Tygervalley Centre. Both the chicken and pork were marked down and was on special. Few days later she decided to prepare only the pork chops over some coals. We soon realised the pork chops that were heavily spiced had gone bad because a terrible odour emanated from the meat.

When she returned the pork to the store with till slip, she was told by butchery personnel that there's absolutely nothing Pick n Pay can do. Furthermore, after looking at the till slip, she realised she was charged the original price of R80.27 instead of the marked down price of R57.00. It’s beyond me how butchery staff can completely ignore such a request to investigate the bad meat not to mention charging her for reduced goods.

Our country is currently in the middle of the world’s largest documented outbreak of Listeriosis and she gets turned away by Pick n Pay staff.

Very poor service Pick n Pay.
