Bad Online Shopping Experience

I decided to order groceries via the online shopping portal to try the service out and everything was very nice until the delivery arrived. In total, 11 items were missing from the delivery and 1 item that was not what was ordered, totaling R437.47. The driver said we should mark all the items down on the delivery note so that he can take it back to the store which would then process our refund. We did that and heard nothing back. I then decided to email the online shopping mailbox about this and days later got a response saying that they can only help if I list the items that weren't delivered. So now the customer has to keep track of the incorrect picking, the bad processes set in place, and beg for a refund? Why was the delivery note I completed not looked at and processed? This doesn't make me very hopeful of the online shopping platform. Yes, it's convenient but this isn't what I hoped for
