Bad Management style from an Assistant Manager

I went there to buy something to eat only to find that there were things that were on mark down so I asked one of the stuff members to keep for as i didn't have my purse with me with cash and cards to pay for the goods,the stuff member gladly took my things in a trolley and kept them...When I returned to pay for those things,the stuff member I asked to keep aside for me had knocked off but left a message that she kept my things.

When I asked for my things I was told the assistant manager had taken them saying why are they keeping aside and they told her it was fir a customer but she went on and paid anyway.

How can a whole assistant Manager do that,that's bad interpretation of how she treats customers.

I was gonna say I will never shop at pick n pay again and that is one customer lost but sadly I dont have a choice because it's the closest.
