Bad food

On my way from work, after a long tiring day, I decided to buy cooked eisbein from Pick N Pay Helikon Park. I chose 1 from the 2 that were available, paid for it and went home. I was very disappointed when I opened it, it was raw, the top part looked cooked but bottom was raw & still dripping blood. Drove back to the shop which is about 5km from my home and they offered to exchange it & and only to find that the other one was also as raw inside. Are there no quality checks done on their cooked food? The convenience of coming from work very tired and just wanting to grab a meal & sleep turned very sour.
