Bad experience Pick 'n Pay Clothing

I am very disappointed in the manner in which the people treated me. I bought a pair of shoes that broke the second time I wore them. I went to the store with my slip and the broken shoe and asked for a refund. They refused the refund due to the fact that I did not have the tag of the shoe. I did have my receipt, but not the tag. If I wanted to be sly, I might as well have taken one of the other tags, put it in the bag and then given it to the one working at the till.

One thing my brain does not understand. If one of the pair of shoes does not have a tag and you buy it, they usually take another pair of shoes and then scan the tag, and you don't get that shoe's tag in your bag. How is that right in anyone's eyes? I am really disgusted by the manner in which they treated me. I love shopping at Pick 'n Pay Clothing, but this store will never see my again. I left the shoes there because what am I going to do with a pair of shoes that I am in anyway not gonna wear.
