Bad experience
Good day today the 23/03/2020 I stopped at the pick n pay in North Beach durban to buy bread, upon entering the shop I walked around and decided not only to buy bread as the kids are home due to the pandemic we are going threw right now so I bought 3 packets of simba chips aswell as a box of ice-cream cones to surprise my babies with a treat. Well I arrived home called my kids to show them what I have bought for them once I opened the ice-cream cones I was shocked as I saw insects crawling all over the cones I quickly closed the box and showed my wife what was coming out she then told me throw it in the bin, I said no I have the receipt I will get a refund I then put it in a packet and tied it very tight and left it on my balcony away from the kids and out my home, I then checked the simba chips to find out one has a small whole the size of an insect sorry to say but I'm very disappointed in this as I never thought I would get this from a pick n pay store. We are all so very careful now that we have this covid 19 around but for us that are careful, what about our grocery stores doing not making it any easier. I will be there at the store tomorrow to return their goods and never to put foot in that store again. Imagine if I just gave the kids the cones to open it and have one without my supervision and they fell sick WHAT WAS GOING TO HAPPEN. ***
