Bad customer service experience

The cashier by name of Basetsana doesn't know the meaning of customer service. She doesn't greet, she was chatting to other colleagues as she was servicing me. She didn't have a pen. She was busy borrowing pens while I'm standing there. I was swiping my American express card for the groceries I bought. For some odd reason the card declined but when she retried it accepted. Then she tells me to write my ID number on some piece of paper. I asked her since when do we write ID numbers on pieces of paper. She tells me I could be a "Petunia or Prudence",who is using somebody's credit card. To my shocked surprise, I then asked her what proof will she have if that ID number is mine or not because I didn't have my ID book with me. She had no anawer. Her attitude was just bad and if maybe she had asked for an ID in a civil manner it would have made a huge difference. I told her I don't appreciate how she speaks to me and how I'm going to report her to the store manager, her response was "go ahead!"and I did just that, what saddens me is when I reported the matter to the store manager, he was busy on his cellphone and didn't even pay attention to me not even once he just told me he will sort it out. I doubt he will even remember to address the matter. What happened to great client experience?? People are just given jobs for the sake of giving, no proper training is done. I'm really disappointed with the level of service I got today at Pick n Pay Lemon Tree branch in Alberton.
