bad customer service

I went to the store on Saturday I bought some goods and I I asked the cashier for withdrawal and he refused he said he doesn't have money in his till, Sunday I went again same teller told me the same thing and I said ask the other teller and she said she doesn't have money . I don't know why they are doing this but please tell us why
