Bad customer service at PicknPay clothing Clear water mall (False advertising) and bad attidude from the store manager

I am writing this with a heavy heart about the bad service I received from the store manager named Livia at PICK’N’PAY CLOTHING CLEARWATER MALL.

I went to buy 3x sets of pyjamas (pants and top), each set was R250. As I was on the till I realised that 1 set has a sticker that says R20 discount if you buy 2. I asked the lady at the till as she was folding the clothes to please keep in mind my discount. She then says on the system theres no discount. I communicated that the item had a discount sticker on so as a customer I am entitled to the discount, if not this is false adverti*****t.

She called the person that was in charge and she communicated that the pants are not on discount. I asked her why there is a discount sticker then, she failed to answer. She said she is coming back. I waited for close to 30 minutes.

Then the store manager called Livia came and said theres no discount with attitude and arrogance, I asked why as the clothes had a discount sticker, she didnt have answers besides saying it could have been a customer or anyone that placed it there. I told her its not my problem, I want the discount I saw on the item she said no, its either I leave the pyjamas or take them. At some point she even said I am lying about the sticker, I have recordings of the entire conversation. There was a lot of back and forth.

She was not helpful, its as if she doesn’t know what is costomer service. I am disappointed that your managers treat customers like that. I was gonna pay R750 in total which she didnt even care whether I buy or not.
