Bad Customer Service and NO notifications
I am highly upset! I joined the smart shopper program when it first started. As I moved to a remote location with no PnP, I gave my mom my card and when i needed anything from PnP she would get it for me. At NO POINT was I told that my points would expire... Now she says i have lost around R400 worth and let me tell you - I WILL NEVER SHOP PnP AGAIN AND I WILL LET EVERYONE KNOW
on top of that, when i tried to fill in your web page form, it insisted that i put in my cell number and then said it was invalid, so i called Customer Service and spoke to one of the rudest people i have ever encountered, which upset me even more, quite frankly your brand is pathetic!
Good day Caren
Thank you for taking the time to address your concerns with us.
Please note as per our Smart Shopper Ts & Cs which can be viewed in store at our Smart Shopper kiosk or on the Pick n Pay website , your Smart Shopper points are valid for 12 months and your switched points to rand value is valid on the card for 03 years. >>>>> http://www.picknpay.co.za/smartshopper-terms-and-conditions
Notification does get sent out to customers via SMS, a month prior before the points expire but you had not updated your cell number with Smart Shopper for our team to send correspondence to your updated number.
Your points did not expire though, the system shows that on the 28.12.2017 last year 35300 points which amounts to R 353.00 was switched into Rand's and R148.57 was used the same day at PnP Kingsuburgh from your Smart Shopper card and your are currently left with a switched value of 204.43 which you can still be able to use for payment in store.
You have not had any points expiring from the card ever since you started using Smart Shopper & please update your contact number either by calling our customer care on ***or send an email request to *** with the Smart Shopper card number, your old contact number, new contact number & Id or date of birth linked to the profile and request for the new cell phone number update.
We would like to thank you for your valued feedback, kindly be advised that this has been sent through to management.
In regards with the rude encounter with one of our customer service consultants, we will be forwarding the complaint to their team leader to listen to the call and address the complaint.
We value you as a Pick n Pay customer and are committed to improve continually on our service levels.
Kind Regards,
Senabelo Naledi Ndlovu
