Bad customer service and disrespect of the highest order.
On the 30th of March I went to Pick 'N Pay Liquor shop with my husband in Winnie Mandela Tembisa. It was pretty full and only two tills were working. Truth be told this is how Pick 'N Pay treats its Township customers because you will certainly not find this happening anywhere in town and I know this because I live in Centurion. We que for a full 30 minutes and when we get to the till a till attendant by the name Dimakatso (black female, were glasses and has a black weave on) looks at me and my husband and says bring your things closer. I ask her what I should bring closer because these drinks and ice are within her reach? She answers me and says if you don't want to buy get out of her, too many customers I do not have time for you. I then ask her, 1st and foremost you are sitting down, I've been queuing for over 30 minutes, I get to the till and you don't offer me a paying customer good customer service or a decent greeting, you are telling me to live. My husband asks her do you think we are from here? Is this how you treat your customers because you think they live in shacks, her response was I don't give a ****. I told her I am going to report you and she said you can write to daily sun still nothing could happen. My question to Pick 'N Pay, is this the kind of service you are offering to black customers living in the township, that your own staff disregard the Consumer Protection Act, that all customers should be treated fairly and that a customer is always right? Or is that because the Pick 'N Pay Liquor its in Tembisa therefore the people in that area are illiterate and cannot differentiate good customer service and Non existent customer service. I must say you have arrogant staff and very illiterate staff, such a big consumer brand like Pick 'N Pay cannot offer decent staff to people of Tembisa.
