Bad customer service after returning rotten chicken bought on 13 November - returned immediately.

I bought chicken at Pick N Pay Eersterust (Pretoria) yesterday at around 5pm, went home, unpacked it to wash it off and realized it was rotten, I immediately went back with my slip. The guy at the door called the manager, and the manager turns around and says this is Pick n Pay chicken that was delivered yesterday, people all have different senses of smell, I was livid as he stood their basically telling me that I am lying it's not rotten because people's sense of smell is different. I also made it very clear that I did not want to buy chicken from them and I want my refund. This is not the 1st time I had to take back rotten food to this store with much hassle, the level of customer service that I receive at this store is pathetic to say the least. Why are they selling expired or rotten goods to the public. Their management skills are very poor as the manager was debating with me about sense of smell and he doesnt see anything wrong the rotten chicken, right in the stores front door. Pick N Pay you need to hold these franchise owners accountable because this reflects very badly on you as well. Allowing them to treat customers so badly. I am totally disgusted to say the least, and like I've said, this is not the 1t time, the last time I bought tin food, the manager also gave me a lot of grief, consequently I have not returned or reported any goods lower than R50, but it seems this is becoming a trend and I, the customer is the 1 loosing.
