Bad Customer Service

This review is specifically for Pick ‘n Pay Jabulani mall. The shop is very clean and welcoming but its cashiers and shop assistants who lack basic customer service skills like greeting who make shopping unpleasant. Hello is the most basic act of service in customer service. I greeted Khanyo as a customer as she just looked at me when I got to the till, please tell me why even when I greeted as a customer she didn’t find it it decent enough to greet back but instead she said plastic?? and she continued to have a conversation with the lady that was packing. I mean really, is this the kind of service that we deserve just for shopping. We don’t know each other and we all have problems, there is nothing special about hers. This is a small issue but I want to understand from Khanyo why she lacks basic manners because I doubt this is how she was trained to do her job. I refuse to believe that she was trained to be unprofessional and uncouth.
