Bad attitude from staff and management
I have never been so disrespected and humiliated in the long years of my shopping experience and this is worse because it was from "who looked like a store or floor manager" ganging up with his staff. We went in the store before 6pm and this was obviously not to visit pnp but for my household shopping. 1. I had to wait 10minutes for a trolley which was said to be collected by the one of the security staff from the storeroom or at the back of the store. 2. I went on to shop till at the time when the store was closing. 3. I had almost all the member's of the staff come to tell me that the store is closed and that all the tills will be closed and this was with a threatening behaviour hinting to me that my shopping would have been in vain as it would mean that I won't have anywhere to pay. when I say all the member's of the staff I literally mean that EVERYONE in that shift was in a HURRY, ''with some of the staff holding their bags and tapping their feet in clear portrait that we need to leave make it snappy" to leave the store and didn't even care if I paid or not. 4. So we eventually got to the tills which was again "PUSHED" by some guy(staff). As we were busy off-loading the trolley to pay there was more than 7 staff members at our till standing there with hands folded and had these intimidating looks, again "the make it snappy look, we need to go" with the other one standing next to me on the trolley occasionally asking if I'm taking what was left in the trolley or if she has to take them back to the shelves(and her brows were really on fleek with the way they were raised when I protested that she needs not be all over my face and should leave me to make my decisions freely. So we had everything scanned and were ready to pay when a trolley war erupted and we were told that the trolley is not allowed out at that time because the store was closed and I asked how do they expect that I carry all that stuff to the car and they almost all at the same time responded "ai aritsi'' and I then retaliated and told them I will leave that store with the trolley as I wont be able to carry all that staff to the car and they will get their trolley back. This is the interesting part, the manager raised his voice from where the parcel counter shouting "the trolley will not leave the store and I told him as well that I will take it out as it was impossible for me to carry that stuff and he continued murmuring from a distance and came approaching with a ''ssshhhhhhh shhhhhhshhhh whoa''. I told him to lose that line as he would not speak to me as if he's talking to a child and he retaliated that since I'm talking to him like that and wont listen to him, he will just cancel the transaction, and I dared him to do it and he instructed the cashier cancel that transaction. I asked for the customer care number which they refused to give and as we were leaving we asked for the numbers again and one of the staff(the *** guy) asked the security guy ''why u entertain-a labantu'' So is this how you treat your customers? I cannot believe such disrespect.
Furthermore, I have further wrote the same to the customer care using a query form from their website on the day of the incident and to date i still haven't heard from them, my last e-mail was this morning to the customer service department and again, in vain. Query ref: ********** 708
