Bad Attitude

<p>I went to Pick n Pay The Boulders on Saturday 07-01-2017, to pick up few things I needed, I was paying with a gift card, to my surprise I was told they are offline, then I ask if a gift card is not like having cash because all type of payment were functional except GIFT CARD. Mr. Johan Vester (I am not sure of the surname spelling) who is an Assistant Manager was called, He came to the till with a very bad attitude telling me that all Pick n Pay in the country are offline if I've got another card I should pay with it, I asked him is that trying to help me? then a dialogue broke out, because I felt undermined the way he was talking to me, the way he look at me and I really did feel like a customer neither as a human, I told him "I can not believe we still getting treatment like this" He just said after that statement he cant help me any more, he moved away and left me standing on till, saying he cant help me, while I was left with a cashier(Romeo) complaining, a guy who was with Him Michael Mekgwe (a receiving manager according to Johan) he just forcefully took the grocery on the trolley n threaten me, I took my card and my GIFT CARD and left feeling small and insulted, Thanks to Cashier who tried to comfort me with few words before I left.</p> <p>Around where I stay I do not have Pick n Pay, I had to travel to Boulders but I travel for nothing only to be insulted by an Assistant Manager.</p> <p>I would also like to know how does a Pick n Pay Gift Card work, because I've been using it for the past 4years I never had this kind of a problem, next day I find out Pick n Pay in Woodmead never experience being off line. </p>
