Bad and very rude service at Pick n Pay Goldman Street Florida

I went to Pick n Pay Goldman Street in Florida today (01/02/2023) to purchase bread with my Smartshopper card (***) because I had points to the value of R12.82 and I received the most ********** service from one of your staff by the name of Portia Mnqeta. I walked a distance of about 4 kilometres because I have no money and I needed the bread. I bought two loaves which were on special to the value R15 and a plastic bag which came to a total of R16 which meant I had to pay a difference of R3.18. I had R50 on me which I was saving for my child's school spending. When I gave her the R50 she started by giving me a smug look and then proceeded to ask me where must she get change for a payment of R3 from R50 and then she said she had no change. My complaint is not regarding the change because that's a normal occurrence everywhere but I'm really upset in regards to the way she spoke to me. I left the shop to look for change and then returned as soon as I had it and went back to her till because I could see the bread where I had left it on her counter. I greeted her and she did not greet back and she then serviced like I was some kind of nuisance to her, no greeting, no smile and she looked quite annoyed and did not even say goodbye. As someone who also works in customer service I found her demeanor very unpleasant. There are ways of carrying yourself around customers and she in no way exhibited those traits. If there's no change just simply say and customers will understand, but speaking to them condescendingly is not the way to go. I never complain because I fear putting someone's job in jeopardy however this incident left a sour taste in my mouth. I always had good things to say regarding the Pick n Pay in Goldman Street Florida even though I rarely purchase there as I mostly do most of my shopping on the Pick n Pay online website. I earned those points however little she thinks they may be and I deserve respect like any other client whether I'm spending R3 or R2000 at your store. I was not properly dressed so I think she might seen me as a nobody and thought she could treat me as she pleases and that goes against everything I know Pick n Pay to be as I've never had such treatment at of your sores before.
