Bad Advertising by Pick n Pay

What a pity Store Managers take little notice of instructions given by Pick n Pay customer Care. I was taken for a ride on 28 September and complained to Customer Care on the same day. I received an email on 30 September saying that the store would contact me. I am still waiting for this to happen. I bought a so called 2 x 400 grams of strawberries on 28 September for a so called price of R50.00. On getting home I noticed that I was charged R78,98 an overcharge of R28.98. Was this a catch, hoping that customers would not check their slips or was this a genuine pricing error or system error. It's very easy to blame the system. I have now waited 7 days and nothing has transpired. This is not good enough. I have a Checkers Store within walking distance from my home, so why should I use Pick Pay? Their stores need a revamp as well.

I am still waiting for somebody to contact me. I can only say that PnP is now off my radar unless somebody does something. I went to PnP yesterday to have my problem rectified. They overcharged me R30.00 on a "buy 2 for R50" special. I was charged R78.98 as stated above. When I asked why nobody has contacted me there was a shrug of the shoulders. The explanation given is that the "smart shopper" system was off line. How many more people were caught being overcharged due to this? So much for a Smart Shopper. I think you are smart when you catch PnP out for over charging and then report it. Otherwise you are a sucker.
