hi there. I understand that when buying products out of season one can only expect to pay a higher price but it is upsetting to pay more and not receive a product you can eat...I paid over R60 for 4 avos marked \ripe and ready\" I ate one that night and the others were hard...I thus put them in the fridge as stated to do on the package and waited for them to become \"ripe and ready \" 2 days after the expiry date I tried to cut one up to see if it was perhaps edible but it was brown and hard thus not edible. I took the other 2 out of the fridge thinking the fridge might be keeping them hard but they then went straight from hard to rotten in a day."
