Avoid PnP Online orders, they conveniently ignore notes and substitutions to avoid customers getting products on special...

I ordered several items over the weekend from Pick and Pay Online Shopping (, clearly marking on the order that I would like substitutions for some and no substitutions for others. Among my order there was also 4 bottles of 2l Omo liquid with comfort added, and 1 bottle 2l regular Omo liquid, both these items were on special offer. I clearly stated in my note to the shopper that should the 2l Omo with comfort be out of stock, it should be replaced with the Regular Omo 2l. Low and behold, when my order was delivered with ZERO Omo with comfort 2l, but it did have 1 bottle of regular Omo 2l. The response from the call centre was that I was not charged for it. All fine and well, but the shopper CHOSE TO IGNORE MY SPECIFIC INSTRUCTION, so I lose out on a total saving of R240 on the liquid. If I knew the service would be this bad, with disregard for my instruction, I would have bought the laundry liquid from Checkers. The other item that was substituted was a jar of Douwe Egberts, so my instruction was followed there, but it was charged at R70 more than the other 2 jars of Douwe Egberts.The call centre agent said she will escalate, but it has been 2 days and I have not yet had feedback on the laundry detergent matter. Please avoid using Pick and Pay online ordering service, or at least TRIPLE CHECK your final invoice....
