Authorisation letter

Since 15/08/2026, i have been requesting an authorisation letter for the bank to release a pending authorisation. I was told the matter was escalated and i would receive the letter within 12-48 hours. To date, i have not received it.

I have sent multiple emails and called in several times. On calls, i am put on hold for more than 5 minutes without anyone breaking the hold to update me. Each time i have to re-explain why i need the letter.

I feel i am being taken for a fool. The bank requires this letter from Pick n pay to release the funds, and this delay is causing me financial inconvenience.
