Attitude and Poor Management

Yesterday (2 April 2018 ) I visited the Pick n Pay Rosettenville store to purchase a few items, a lot of items were displayed on special and one of these was the Spekko rice marked in big at R18.99 for 2kg. I purchased this and left the store. Few minutes later after having a look at my receipt I noticed I was charged the full price of R27.99 so I returned to the store to enquire. The manager tells me they are busy changing all the prices and the special actually ended the night before. I requested a refund(was not even given the item at the shelf marked price) and was then basically blamed as his excuse was they were short staffed, it was a holiday, they were busy updating prices. As a customer I should have been charged the marked down price as this was the stores problem, not mine. The attitude by this so called manager was disgusting to say the least as he continued typing on his computer not even taking my complaint seriously.
