ASAP doesn't mean as soon as possible at oicknpay.
So I just got off the phone with a picknpay call centre person and I am so frustrated. I placed an order on their asap and it was accepted at 13h08. The estimated delivery time kept getting longer and longer so I phoned their customer care center. The first call had me on hold for 10+ minutes and then without putting me through to a consultant, went straight to a customer survey. The second call has me on hold for almost 15 minutes and I finally got through to a consultant named Carmen who said she would see what the delay was and expedite my order. No progress was made and the order delivery time kept getting pushed back . Then the app says the order was delivered at around 4pm, but I recieved no order. In total, I have wasted about an hours worth of airtime calling their customer call centre and being kept on hold. I called 5 times in total. Finally someone(Liam) answered my last call and promises to track my order and fund out where the driver delivered. 30 minutes later I am still waiting..I have never had this problem with Checkers 60 60. Everybody out there, don't waste your time on picknpay. Clearly, their online ordering system is faulty and their call centre is not helpful, maybe they don't want to pay enough people to work there, so we have to hold for unreasonable amounts of time to get to talk to somebody. And then when we do, they are unhelpful and don't keep their promises. Stick with checkers, I think.
Unfortunately I cannot provide your'll with an order no. as it is no longer on the app. The order was refunded to my wallet, but the app is unable to send my money back to my bank account no matter how many times I click on payout. The call centre person I spoke to says that she will get in touch with the finance department, who will then contact me. Needless to say, I am still waiting. All I have heard from your call centre, since Sunday, are a whole lot of apologies. Apologies that are not backed by action, are quite useless, so please spare me. I am now done with pick n pay, and when my money is finally refunded, I will certainly delete that app and try my level best to never shop with your'll again, even physically. It is sad that some big companies don't see us as people, but merely numbers. Principled companies know it is wrong to take hard-earned money from people and then not deliver on the promises they made in exchange for that money. For a company as large as picknpay not to invest in a working shopping app and enough qualified people in a call centre, is tragic. It shows that perhaps, they are more interested in their own bottom line and not the needs of their customers.
