Arthur at Coachman's goes the extra mile

I'd like to congratulate Pick 'n Pay Coachman's in Bryanston on their excellent choice for store manager (I think that's his position) Arthur.

My husband had knee surgery a month and a half ago and required ice for a machine he was using to assist him. I was making daily visits to Pick 'n Pay to buy bags of ice for the machine. After a few visits one of the ladies working on the till asked what I bought ice so frequently for and I told her my husband has had surgery and needs it. Arthur must have overheard the conversation as the next night when I came in he made a point of coming to me and asking me how my husband's knee is doing.

I had always seen Arthur being very involved in the store, always walking around and asking customers if they need anything, and I was touched that he had asked me how my husband is. Over the next two weeks he continued to check in on our progress when I came to buy my ice and made me feel so welcome and looked after. I will make a point of returning to that Pick 'n Pay based on Arthur's friendly attitude and the fact that he goes the extra mile in looking after his customers.

Please congratulate Arthur on going above and beyond what is expected. He definitely deserves recognition and a raise!
