Are customers not welcome?
I was in the Goldfields mall PnP Clothing store twice today. Both these times I wanted to use the fitting rooms. Both these times the fitting rooms was locked and there was nobody nearby to assist me. I had to go looking for the person with the key, walking up and down in the store, which resulted in my shopping experience being ruined. The second time, I mentioned to the lady how it makes me as customer feel very unwelcome if I am not able to fit the clothes that I am buying.
Her first excuse was that there should be someone at the fitting rooms at all times (if there is someone there, why would it need to be locked? And there wasn't anybody) and her second excuse was that if people can just go in, they take too many clothes and then make a mess. I told her that not all customers is like that, that it would not be a problem if someone is at the fitting rooms, as she claims there should be, and that it makes all the customers feel uncomfortable. She simply shrugged.
I feel like I was treated like a *****, that I am not welcome at the store, and like my complaints are not taken seriously. And if customers is not welcome and their input not valued, the branch can just shut their doors.
Please let me know if customers is welcome or not, so I can inform my friends if they should stay away for the convenience of the staff.
After my first complaint, I received an email stating that the situation is rectified. I rep**** asking how it is rectified. I still haven't received a reply. PnP obviously does not care.
