Appalling service before closing time
Vaal Mall Pick 'n Pay cashiers and the respective supervisors on 05 October 2022 had 3 tills and 1 Kiosk till open just before closing time. When I looked around, closed cashiers were chatting, on their phone, flipping through the shop newsletter outlining specials.
May I suggest that the shop close 30/15 mins before time, to allow your cashiers and shoppers to attend to the urgent business of their personal shopping, phones and reading material - this way your clients will not be inconvienanced and the staff can attend to items they believe is more important than assisting customers.
On a serious note, thank you to the cashier at the till, she had a massive line of visibly annoyed customers and handled herself very well - your staff have alot to learn from her.
