Appalling service at Pick n Pay

I had a terrible experience yesterday (4 August 2020). I went to the deli, ordered fish and chips, the lady gave me fish but adviced that they had no chips and that I should check the Pick n Pay wing opposite the main one ( same mall). I went to the till and payed R22. 00 then proceeded to the Pick n Pay opposite as per the lady's advice. While I was waiting for my chips, an older guy from the main Pick n Pay approached, he demanded the fish from my friend who handed it over , when I was done with my order I asked my friend ( who was traumatized) what was going on. She said the gentlemen from the main Pick n Pay took the fish and said he was going to weigh the fish. I was highly disturbed as I thought of covid 19, hygiene etc. I went to the Pick n Pay and asked what was going on, the gentleman asked who served the fish, which I rep**** the lady at the deli. He showed me some lady and asked if she was the one who served me, I am not sure I rep****. At hat point all eyes were on us, you can imagine the embarrassment and all. He showed me a price tag that had R60.00 on it and told me that is how much my fish cost. I was puzzled and confused, he then went on to ask if I going to pay the rest of the money or should he leave it at R22.00? I said I wanted to see for myself as he weighed the fish in our absence. We followed him and true, the fish was R60.00 I then asked the lady what happened, she said it was what the scale produced. I asked her to give me the fish and went to pay. I went straight to the gentleman (in question) as he was at the till and asked him what to do. He was loud, I got so annoyed told him to treat me with respect he kept exchanging words with me at the till in everyone's view.

I am not impressed at how the situation was handled as this whole drama happened due to the Pick n Pay's incompetence. Pick n pay Bramley supermarket is my local grocery store. I buy bread, milk and almost all essentials there. I refuse to be treated like that by a shop that my family has been supporting for the longest time. First of all, the fish was not cling wrapped but covered with a bread plastic bag, it was not suprising that the scale was not working. We were treated with utter disrespect tafter having paid for the food.
