Appalling Pick n Pay Smart Shopper Card support

I am appalled at how Pick n Pay is handling the IT issues related to Smartshopper cards. With this new Smartshopper platform, it seems the poor quality IT workmanship still remains and this leaves a bad taste in the mouth considering that Pick n Pay is a good brand. I have spent two weeks to try and replace my old Smartshopper card (which showed as Card Not Registered). In reality, another card was on the system but lost. I blocked the card on the system and then tried to register a new one. This fails saying there is an old card that needs to be blocked. For 1 week this is the case.

At William Moffet Pick n Pay Hyper they say come back after 7 days. At Boardwalk Pick n Pay they say try again after 24 hours. Even then, nothing works!!! How is it that Pick n Pay feels that customer care people without technical expertise can just issue silly remedies is beyond me.

Why don't the customer care people log a ticket with the IT team so that they can manually block and remove the old card from the database and then add the new card? This Hellopeter complaint would then be unnecessary.

Why must we kick up a dust and do uncomfortable things just to get a simple ****** solution implemented?

Please resolve this so that the new card can be added.

It is now almost 2 weeks since my response with the required details. When will this issue be resolved?
Is this how Pick n Pay treats its retired customers? Do you just simply say "try again after 7 days" or "try again after 24 hours" hoping they will forget????

This is a simple IT task of adding the related Pick n Pay card to the pensioner's account. And going silent/blue ticking the pensioner is not a solution to the problem. Can you explain why you have gone quiet?
