Appalled Customer

Hi, I would like to caution anyone against continuing to use the PicknPay asap app!

On Saturday, 9 August 2025, I utilised the PicknPay asap app to place an order, as I occasionally would do. After patiently waiting over an hour for the delivery to be made, the driver (whose details I could not retrieve due to him ending the trip whilst I was in the process of getting his details), cancelled the delivery - indicating that “the customer was unavailable”. Upon the delivery being cancelled, I immediately contacted the store, expressing how aggrieved I was by not only the driver lying, claiming to have tried to reach me when there was no contact made by him, but that I was willing to go and collect the order in-store.

To fast forward, the refund was allegedly processed the same day by PicknPay, but that I would need to allow a 3-5 turnaround time for the funds to reflect in my bank account. To date, the refund has not been processed. I have been using my airtime calling the PicknPay customer careline, desperately hoping for some form of assistance, but have either been asked to hold tirelessly on the line or that the agent would return my phone call.

I have been a long-standing customer of PicknPay and at this point am utterly dismayed by this appalling experience. I will NEVER use the PicknPay asap app again, and would strongly discourage anyone else from using it.

Truly upsetting!
