Appalled at getting thrown out of Pick n Pay!

Utterly appalled and disgusted by the treatment we received at Pick n Pay Vincent Park, East London today, 09/03/2019!! My partner and I were doing our monthly grocery shopping at Pick n Pay as usual- we spend a lot of money there on a weekly basis. We have had one bad experience there once before with a rude cashier, reported it to the manager on duty and left it at that and still returned to the store as we always do, but today... this was the end of the road! We are approached by the manager just after 5pm, while we are doing our shopping and told that they are closed. we say "oh ok", thinking that we are just being informed, not knowing that we are actually being chased out of the store- regardless of whether we are done shopping or not! We go to the next isle to finish up our shop by just grabbing the last items from the cleaning isle, just a Handy Andy and Jik, but as my partner is getting the items from the shelf, this store manager approaches us again and tells us that they are closed. So, in disbelief, I inform him that we are entitled to finish off our shopping- we literally had 2 more items to grab, but the manager tells us no, we have to leave as his staff also want to go home.. What in the world! What kind of training do these employees get! This is no way to treat LOYAL, FREQUENT customers.

Not setting foot in a Pick n Pay store again and will be warning all my friends, family and colleagues and acquaintances so they follow suit.
