Angry customer
I was at pick n pay Mayfield on Saturday around 12:45; my husband went to the parcel counter to put away the parcels that we had in a trolley and he was told they don't have space for our trolley and he can't put away the trolley with the rest of the other trolley,a few minutes later 3 people came out and took they trollleys and there was no trolleys there and we thought we could now our trolley next to the parcel counter and the girl told us we can't put it there its too risky and they won't be able to look after the trolley, so I asked what should I do then cause we want to go inside to go and shop,we were told one of us can stand outside and guard the trolley and the other can shop, so I walked onside and asked some guy who works at Pick n Pay and he said there is nothing he can do for me,so I asked him so should I leave then, he said its up to me. The attitude I was given was because I was black and I have been shopping there for a while now and the service is always bad,we sometimes have to pack our own groceries after shopping and my husband always tells me to come down and just do I it because maybe that lady didn't have a good day and I let it go because I am human and I one worked at retail and dealing with people can be very stressful but the treatment I reaceivd yesterday was completely not acceptable.Pick n pay is one of the biggest Supermarkets in our country please invest in sending your staff to customer service training especially in rural areas because they have attitude knowing very well that most of the people can't do anything about it and don't know about which steps to follow when being exposed to such bad service. Please sort this out because whether I spend R5 or R5000 at your stores I deserve the best service as if I bought the whole store😮😮😮 I am very disappointed.
