AN EXPENSIVE LESSON WITH PICK N PAY'S ONLINE SHOPPING

|This was the first time that I placed an order with Pick n Pay online .... and I will NEVER EVER use their "service" again. It was a most frustrating experience. After wasting time trying to navigate their website, I chose to collect my goods from their collection point in Paarden Eiland. What a saga!! First of all, the address on the website is completely wrong. The collection depot is NOT at 14 Auckland Street Paarden Island. It is actually in a building that is part of an industrial complex called AUCKLAND PARK. After wasting a whole hour searching fruitlessly, I returned home to phone Pick n Pay Customer's Care Line. And that was another BIG mistake! A gentleman by the name of Kaz (who refused to give me his surname) was anything but helpful. He seemed more intent on showing me how smart he was. But, he obviously didn't know what he was talking about. Among other bits of misinformation, he told me that the number 14 was on the building and that I needed to drive into the grounds of Auckland Park. In actual fact, the unit is No 6 and the entrance to unit No 6 is on Auckland Street. When I suggested there should be a phone number at the depot where customers could to get directions. Kaz again wanted to make excuses and show me how smart he is! I left a message for his superviser/ manager, Sibusiso, to phone me. I am still waiting!! Another sample of the disservice that Pick n Pay is dishing out to its customers, No wonder Pick n Pay is falling behind its competitors!

I only saw your reply now. In answer to your questions, I was shopping online. I look forward to someone at Pick n Pay contacting me .... in the near future.
