Almost Knocked Over & Stock Cages Crates ALWAYS Blocking Isles

Wanted to get something this morning at the bakery when a packer almost ran me over with a trolley full of stock when he bumped into it from behind. Let's forgive him I didn't suffer any injuries and maybe it was an honest mistake BUT the isles are ALWAYS cluttered with empty stock cages or dozens of crates full of stock that must still be packed.

I have years of retail experience working in similar large chain stores. And this is certainly cannot be up to Pick 'N Pay's standards, not even basic retail standards.

Why do all the stock need to be brought to the floor if the packer cannot empty and remove the containers and cages immediately or in a reasonable time?

It doesn't matter what time of day it is, it's always like that. Please look into this because it could lead to safety concerns as someone could easily get injured in this store due to negligence.

Not only is it frustrating and could get someone hurt but from a retail workers perspective it's upsetting because I know large companies have policies in place to deal with this but there seems to be no supervision or change.

I would like to stay anonymous because I do not want to be targeted if I ever go there again.

All I can say is although the store has recovered other sections it's still suffering from a major merchandising crisis. This is just my opinion and I believe someone should speak out about it.

I don't know if this is because of politics or are the workers protesting in away but please if its about wages or whatever sort it out. The workers should take pride in their work but they can't do it if they are slaves. So please look where the problem is and correct it. We are humans and it should be fun to go to Pick n Pay not to feel like a survival apocalyptic shopping experience.
