All my account info gone after latest app update

I needed to access old invoices on the app, and upon opening the app, found I had to sign back in after an update. Once signed in (yes with the right details) my account was like a brand new one, even though I have purchasing history dating back to 2021. Customer support took ages to get back to me, only to tell me there are no order records before October 2025.
