Advertising specials under false pretencies

My husband visited Pick 'n Pay last month to buy an ironing board that was on special. They didnt have stock. On their advice we visited the Woodmead, Hatfield, makhado and Midrand stores. They also didnt have stock. They ended up offering us a 'rain cheque' voucher meaning that on the day they have stock we can buy it on the sale price. This was on 29 September 2016. Up till today they dont have stock. What is upsetting is that this week they have another special on their ironing board, I went to the Pick 'n Pay in Wonderpark and they didnt have stock on the new special. IO think the Pick 'n Pay is trying to fool the public by advertising products they no longer have in stock. When I spoke to the staff at the store yesterday, the service was really bad. It took them 10 minutes to tell me that they dont have stock all they can offer me is a broken ironing board similar to the one on special.
