accused of damaging the product and humiliated for exchanging the damage product

<p>I bought a legging from pick n pay clothing at alberton city, when I got home I relised one of the belt loop was off and I was dissapointed. I took it back to the shop unfotunate they did not have a size and was told to try New market mall and when I got there I told the security lady that I need to exchange as it was damaged, on my suprise she asked if I am not the one who damaged it and that I could have done it and blame the shop for it. I answered her with a question that if I did it wasnt going to fix it myself instead of driving there. When I got to the till I was asked the same question by the cashier and she made it clear that it was impossible for me to buy a legging with torn belt loop when I asked why are they accusing me of something that I did not do they together with a security lady told me that they also wear leggings and they know people pull them up with there loops. The cashier told me that I took the small size that is why I ripped it off and next time she wont exchange for me but she will show me Virgin Active. I felt so embarrassed and humiliated infront of other customers, I had to hide my tears with a smile while walking out of the door as I am strungling with weight but wasnt there to be shown Virgin Active </p>
