Accused falsely and humiliated

I have been contemplating talking about the derogatory, rude and unprofessional manner I was treated like at Pick n Pay Family Heugh Road. I will never forget 04/11/2022, I walked into this shop in a normal manner and within a few minutes I walked out very angry, frustrated and beside myself.

I was followed the minute I walked in by Security and Management, until I ended up at the cashier's till. Little did I know that was just the beginning of my nightmare, a lady (one of management) came to the till and started punching frantically at the till after the cashier rang my grocery items which amounted to just over R500. As I was getting irritated with this unprofessionalism and arrogance, another staff member brought a few types of cheese and handed over 1 to this rude woman. She continued punching the cash register until the amount went up to over R1000, at that point I asked what was happening. Only to be told that I stole cheese a few days ago, as I was trying to compose myself this woman flipped out her cellphone and showed me a snapshot of an old lady who apparently was me "*****ing the cheese". To cut my long story short and as if the woman had her brain switched on, she turned around and told me this was a mistake and that it was not me on the picture. Before then Security and Management were ready to manhandle me in full view of customers and staff members, this is one of the grocery stores I frequent almost daily, as I work just around the corner from it. I went into this store earlier on the same day to book flight tickets, only to be accused of *****ing later on. The cherry on top was the second arrogant manager who told me I was welcome to phone the number at the back of my loyalty card to lay a complaint, one would think that they would show remorse after wrongfully accusing me. These people will remember me for the rest of their lives👊
