Account debited twice for one transaction
On 19/05/2015 I shopped at PnP Gordons Bay and paid for the purchase by card (R221.89). I received 2 sms notifications from my bank (ABSA). The amount had been debited from my account twice. I immediately spoke to one of the managers on duty who assured me that the duplicate transaction would be reversed within 24 hours.

The second transaction is still listed and the amount frozed/reserved on my account. Today I went back to the store and spoke to several of the managers. Despite showing the till slip, all the SMS-notifications and electronic copies of my bank statement they refused to help and insisted that I bring a printed statement from the bank before they could fix the error. This is absolutely redicilous! They expect me to drive to another town (where my branch is located) and spend time driving around and standing in queues just to get a printed copy of a statement they have in front of them instead of just checking their transaction logs and the information in front of them?

This is YOUR ERROR PnP, NOT MINE! You have to fix it! The service was absolutely disgusting & you can be sure I will NEVER set foot in that store again, say goodbye to the R10k+ a month I spent there
