Accosted three times in Pick 'n Pay
While doing my month end shop in my local Pick 'n Pay late yesterday afternoon I was accosted first by a beggar who asked me for money in the cereal aisle. A little while later while talking to my teenage daughter a well dressed youth approached me with a flip file appealing for a cash sponsorship for a bogus karate trip overseas. I had read all about this latest ploy on my local Facebook CrimeSpotter page.<br> Already feeling irritated, I couldn't believe it when ten minutes later I was again pestered by the same beggar from the cereal aisle - this time in the milk aisle! Not only is this an invasion of my privacy but also a breach of my security ... both my daughter and I checked our bags and decided to stick together and up our vigilance! Pick 'n Pay, you need to please do something about this! All we wanted to do was get out of your store as quickly as possible!!
Thank you for taking the time to contact Pick n Pay and for raising your concerns.
Please accept our apologies for any inconvenience caused, in respect of your poor shopping experiences at our store.
We have escalated this matter to our Eastern Cape regional office for their attention, and they will be in contact with you shortly.
Kind regards
