Abysmal shopping experience
The shopping experience at Pick n Pay Hypermarket Boksburg is abysmal. There is perpetually a shortage of trolleys at this store. Having shopped at this store for 35+ years I have noticed how this problem has been allowed to develop and continue. The trolleys are used by people who are not shopping at this store, using the trolley instead as a pram to transport their multiple childre. These children range in age from babies to teenagers and do not sit in the designated seat in the front of the trolley but rather in the area designated for transporting groceries. This is a health hazard since the dirty bottoms of shoes carry diseases that could transfer to the groceries that I transport in the trolley. I have raised this with the store manager, Scott who promised to inform the security guards to stop people leaving with empty trolleys such that there are trolleys for genuine shoppers. This has not been done and every weekend there are no trolleys for shoppers, resulting in losses for the store with customers opting to shop at a retailer where there are trolleys. This issue requires urgent attention since it causes high levels of dissatisfaction for genuine shoppers, disloyalty to the brand and ultimately lower sales. I expct a resolution to this issue to be devised as a matter of urgency
