Absolutely putrid!
I’ve been living in Florida for 2 years now and every I leave the pick n pay in Goldman Florida I’m more and more frustrated with the service I’ve been experiencing over these two years. I am quite a regular at the store and I am yet to run into a friendly and welcoming staff member at that store and this includes management. These employees are of the most uncouth and crude people I’ve ever experienced in all my life shopping. The employees have a habit of discussing customers right in their presence assuming some customers can’t understand them. Employees are never at their respective working station as it is ridiculously difficult to get anything from their deli on any given day not to mention how poorly stocked the store always is. A couple of months back I had a conversation with a male supervisor inside the pick n pay liquor upon which I was informed by him that they allow the exchange of 5 empty beer bottles per 1 beer purchased, however, today upon entering the store I was soon followed by a female manager/supervisor. I walked up to the counter and informed another one of their rude employees that I have five empty beer bottles with me, she nodded at me in agreement and I the proceeded to purchase a beer. However when I approached the counter the female manager/supervisor walked up to the rude cashier and the openly discussed with her these empty beer bottles and shamelessly giggling (at my expense) when I’m finally tended to she then proceeds to tell me next time I come in I can only exchange 1 beer bottle per one beer purchased, which is completely pointless as each beer bottle is as good as cash. I immediately felt humiliated and discriminated against. I’m always friendly when shopping at this establishment and never make any unnecessary conversation with anyone of the employees, I’ve never been a difficult customer and therefore have never given any of the staff at pick n pay Goldman Florida any reason to disrespect me in this manner completely disregarding me as a paying customer. Is this really the representation of the Pick n Pay brand now? is this now what the Pick n Pay brand is about? Complete and utter disregard for there customers?
