Absolutely disgusting service from Pick n Pay Richmond Corner.

Went to purchase the Burger Friday Deal at Pick n Pay Richmond Corner today. The adverti*****t outside the store CLEARLY showed Lancewood 175g Cheese slices, and even the newspaper leaflet mentions it as an option in the fineprint.

Yet when I got to the till, it was billed at full price. The cashier was extremely helpful, and confirmed what the advert outside said, but the supervisor, and supposed manager flat out refused to assist. They insisted, my only option was to take a lesser quality C***** product, or leave with nothing. I chose to leave.

Despite acknowledging that the advert showed Lancewood cheese, they said it wasn't their fault, it's what they were given to display.

I was sure to take photos of the board outside, which they promptly removed.

I will say that I don't believe I spoke to a real manager (Vuyiso I think), despite their claims. In the past, I've had nothing but excellent experience from this store.

Such a waste to ruin that over a pack of sliced cheese.
