ABSOLUTELY DISGUSTING
My Daughter went into Pick n Pay Hout Bay to purchase items and one of them was bottles of sparkling Boschendal wine. Just outside the store a bottle exploded into her legs. She had to have 4 stitches in her leg and had pieces of glass all over her legs. I immediately called the manager to express my disgust of selling champagne that was worse than bombs. It could have been her face......he promised to get back to us that very day......well that was over a week ago and we have heard nothing from him. I have now decided to not only claim for medical bills, plus compensation, as she has been in agony and will now have a scar for the rest of her life. I await the New Year to contact legal advice over this. Am very annoyed and disappointed as I always regarded the service, standard and management of PicknPay in such high esteem.
Pick n Pay you will be hearing from my lawyer soon !!!!
