A.J - Cashier of the Year

<p>I would like to complement the A.J a cashier at the Gonubie Pick N Pay. We have become used to cashiers that cannot reach for groceries that are more than twenty centimetres from their hand or even stop talking to the packer or a friend in order to scan your shopping. He is friendly and extremely efficient. I started to pack my own groceries which I always do in order to speed up the normally painfully slow procedure of paying for my purchases and he insisted that he do it and told me “It is part of the service he offers.” He processed my card at the same time instead of the normal method of staring at the card machine waiting for the transaction to go through then starting with the packing that you expect from all other cashiers.</p> <p>A.J is an asset to the company and the branch and deserves recognition for holding himself to a higher standard than the inefficiency detest towards customers which has become acceptable. His attitude and work ethic will benefit him in life and his career, he should be promoted in order to keep him as an employee as any company will be lucky to have him.</p> <p> </p> <p> </p>
