7 - 9 day old mouldy Eclairs at Pick n Pay Clearwater
<p>I bought eclairs from the Pick n Pay at Clearwater Mall as you would think it would be the best of the best right.... Yeah not so much.</p> <p>I did my research and a product needs to stay in a display counter for 7-9 days before you see mould like this. This means you think you are getting a fresh product but in fact you are getting a product where cream has been s****ped off and new cream has been pipped on.</p> <p>Discusting !!!!!! Luckily the box fell over and we saw the mould before eating any of it.</p> <p>Posted the issue on the Pick n Pay Facebook page on the 22nd of August, was sent an essay to complete and still no feedback.</p> <p> </p> <p>Awesome service and quality Pick n Pay.</p> <p>Just to be save, check the confectionary bought from Pick n Pay before eating it.... You might just get sick !!!!</p>

Thank you but i have received more or less the same message when i posted the message on facebook and i am still waiting for a reply so i am not holding my breath.

Thank you for the apology regarding the lack of service and for the Confectionary from the store Pick n Pay, however having the store tell me that those éclairs were only in the display cabinet for 2 days is an outright lie !!! Confectionary does not take two days to start moulding or have the amount of mould on that was on those éclairs.
Then you want me to go back to the same store so you can replace the product.... ??? Don't think I will be buying anything from Clearwater Pick n Pay's bakery thank you.
I gave you the raw facts of how long it takes for a product to get to the stage where it was and still I am being told it was only in the display cabinet for 2 days and unfortunately the bakery Manager is not in today so they cant double check. Maybe someone should check with the bakery manager if he knows what is going on in his bakery.
I would not recommend buying confectionary from this store at all unless you need a few days off work ! (Remember that the sell by date is set by the store on the scale they use to print the labels)
