********** 010420 Sasko Low GI Seeded Brown Bread unavailable at Pick 'n Pay Braamfontein for more than a month despite repeatedly reporting it to branch manageress Mpho Tsebe. I worte to Pick 'n Pay via their website on Sunday the 11th of March but no reply from them either. It seems that I'll have to get my bread from Checkers near one of my workplaces in Randburg / Sandton: they *invariably* have stock of *all / any* items at *all* times due to the automation in their supply chain. This is my situation for years now.

Thank you Vanitha, The bread in reference is available on *some* week-days, during the earlier part of the day but not at 17h00, nor on Saturdays. Those are the days / times that I can get to the Braamfontein store. The problem is that Braamfontein do not (re)stock *enough* of this bread. When I began to explain the problem in detail to Anna, she offered to transfer me to the owner and he undertook to get it resolved. This was good, because Anna supervises the cashiers and does not know matters affecting stock levels / availability of any items on sale in the store. Pick 'n Pay has lost its edge: you need to set up an automated (IT) supply chain management system, not run it manually on tablets as you currently do. You must be losing millions in missed sales due to items out of stock --there are many other items affected by the same problem as the bread that I brought up here.
