3 week old food sold as reduced to clear

Just a heads up on #PicknPay processes around expired stock. Bought a reduced to clear pack of cheese this past weekend and after eating some found the sell by date to be just over 3 weeks old. Took it back, and messaged privately to PnP asking why they seem to have a policy of marking down very old food, at the risk of making customers sick, just to avoid profit loss. After a brief response, somebody from the store phoned, and knew very little about what was happening. They promised to phone with feedback, but days later, and PnP social and Pinehurst branch have gone quiet.
