Phonetradr phonies
Phonetradr, an electronic device reseller operating from Johannesburg has a very promising website in which used cellular and electronic devices can be sent to them by courier totally free of charge from anywhere in the country. The device will be checked over, evaluated and then be listed for sale on their website. Once sold, the company then takes a certain percentage sales commission and refunds the owner the difference. All very idyllic sounding yes, but in reality.......dont expect to see your device ever again! You will get no feedback on your devices whereabouts, Months and months will pass. Queries by email are simply ignored. Requests for returns of your device are met with a response for you to pay R270, a courier return fee, into their FNB account before the device will be returned. After paying that, still don't expect to have your device sent back to you. Their official and only contact number in Johannesburg is NEVER answered. To avoid the loss of your expensive device AVOID this company like the pestilence that is it.
