Phillips Machine South Africa dirty deal.

Hi All. I bought 1 compact TLB from Phillips Machine SA brand new in 2017. In 2018 I was approached by one of the sales personnel and said they have a mechanical broom that is on a 3 months contract, and asked if I am not interested to buy it since is on hire and they don't offer plant hire services. I saw it as an opportunity and I paid half of the selling price and I was taken to Group 5 site where the machine was working. The contract was canceled between Phillips Machine and Group 5. They kept quiet until I settle the payment. I was not aware that the contract was canceled and I did follow ups with the sales personnel and he advised me to send an invoice and I did. After couple of weeks when I did a follow up he said his account department requested to get the invoices separated monthly to make it 3 x invoices. I did that. 1st month was paid. After a year I followed up about the remaining 2 months payment and he kept on saying it will be paid. Later he said it won't be paid because the machine was OFF hired. The CEO requested me to come to Middleburg and he was rude and said he can't pay me if he was not paid. I just want to advise anyone planning to buy any equipment from this ****** to consider other suppliers over this guys. They are selfish.
