Philips Oneblade disappoints

I heard a radio reviewer opine that this unit shaved well and easily and was an answer to the high cost of razor blades. Takealot's price was by far the best, so I bought one, and I confess to being disappointed. I have found it not very intuitive to use and didn't cope well with a 3-day beard. I'll keep trying but I'm not sure if it will prevail. It might work better on longer hair. It comes with 2 "spacers" for 1mm and 2mm trim lengths but I'll never use.
