Philips Customer complaint

18 Feb 2021 I purchased a Philips iron from Checkers ,George. 2 year warranty May 2022, iron stopped working. Took it back to Checkers, including box, warranty, till slip and iron. Told that I must take it up with Philips, as Chackers only carry 1 year of the Warranty. Phoned Philips , Call centre said I must get is sent to VR Electronics in PE. I called them, Channel said I must send them copy of my till slip and address, which I did. They called me back, said the product is out of Warranty, and I must take it up with Checkers !! Seriously ? I told them I'll take this further.
